Coordination and Attack

Beginner’s level Curriculum starts with advanced attack approaches using rook, queen, bishop, king, and pawn. Keeping the coordination of the pieces and making them all participate in the attack can be a turning point of the game. This module is followed by a short test review for students.

Coordination and Defence

How to gain an advantage against an an opponent’s attacking moves? The answer hides in the right defensive technique. We introduce kids to defensive techniques that include defense by piece movement, supporting, interposing or just capturing. Every defense approach involves calculation, and analysis of the position, thus picking up the ideal technique to defend can put you in the winning spot.

Gain and loss through Trades, Free Piece and Exchange of pieces

Trades on the chessboard sound interesting, but making the right trades is the real deal. We focus on trades, how to capture undefended pieces. In addition, students learn how to exchange a minor chess piece for a rook, and be up the exchange. Kids also get an understanding of chess terms like up the exchange and down the exchange as well as the exchange technique.

Checkmate in One

Everyone has heard of the checkmate, but did you know how to mate with different pieces? We can mate in one with the queen, with the rook, with minor chess pieces, with a pawn, with two rooks. Let’s not get confused, but suit up for another important chess technique.

Tactics , Calculation and Defense against Checkmate

Welcome to the chess tactics that will make your game change for the better. The lesson covers concepts like pin, the difference between a fork and double attack, why players use a fork.Let’s move to our last session of Beginner’s Level which focuses on the calculative aspect of the game. We start by deciding the appropriate positions, and square selection of the board pieces, and end the module with in-depth game analysis. Also, Instead of losing your calm in midst of chess, master the winning mindset and learn how to defend yourself against the checkmate move followed by a detailed test review covering the whole curriculum.
