The Unsung Heroes: Learn to full effect how to use your kings and pawns in the endgame. Learn pawn storm techniques, and how to create passed pawns.
The Fine Art of Evasion: Learn the subtle art of slipping and sliding out of danger and when retreat is the best option.
Block the Blow: Understand interposition methods and when to give up small pieces for long-term positional advantage.
Strike Back: Turning defence into offence by capturing the attacking pieces, through tactical shots and eliminating threats.
Strength in Numbers: Coordinate your pieces in tight defence by way of fortresses and covering crucial points.
Counter-attack: Know when to turn a defensive position into a winning offence.
Final Test Review: Have a go and test your new skills against a series of tough positions and games.

The Open File

Learn to maximise the potential of a rook by controlling the open files and ranks. This will mainly be about doubling rooks, creating batteries, and exploiting weaknesses in the opponent's pawn structure. Players are to learn how to use the rook not as another heavy piece but more like a precise tool in the attack, holding the power to turn your game.

Diagonal Dominance

Master integrating your bishops as part of a bigger plan for creating long-range threats for your enemy. Learn to place your bishops in ways that dominate central diagonals, pinning opponent pieces and putting pressure on the enemy king. The mighty bishop pair is also examined as to how best to use it in the middle game.

The Supreme Attacker

The most powerful piece on the chessboard, capable of changing the tides in a game. This session has to do with using the queen for threats of such a nature that a fellow piece or a combination thereof will be incapable of parrying it effectively, besides allowing the execution of complex combinations. It will teach the learners how to decide when and how the queen-led attack transitions into checkmate.

Knight Attacks and the Fork Master

Knights being the most awkward pieces on the board they jump and check from everywhere. This will show players how to make full use of the awkwardness of the knight: how to produce forks and exploit squares from where they cannot be captured in return, and how to facilitate tactical shots by other pieces. In particular, this session will focus on producing a concept of outposts and how they can be used to post knights in dominant positions.

The Unsung Heroes

The king and pawns are too often underrated, yet they can prove to be very potent attackers—especially the king—in the endgame. In this session, we will see how players can utilize the more active use of the king, specifically in pawn storms and attacking formations, while concentrating on pawn structure and how to fashion passed pawns to put pressure on the opponent.
